Terms of Service

These terms describe the agreement between you and Neil Busque ("I", "me") when you engage me to build a website under the offer described at sites.busqueneil.com.
The offer
The service is a website build at the rate of $50 per page (during the launch window for the first 10 clients), plus an optional $50/month hosting and management plan. The build is delivered within 24 hours of approval, assuming you provide the content and feedback I need in that window.
Payment
You don't pay the build fee until you approve the site. Once you approve, payment is due before the site goes live on your domain. The $50/month hosting plan is billed monthly in advance and can be canceled at any time with no penalty.
Revisions
The build includes unlimited revisions during the design phase until you approve the site. Once the site is live, small changes (under 15 minutes each) are included with the $50/month hosting plan. Larger changes (new pages, redesigns) are quoted separately at $50 per page during the launch window or at the prevailing rate afterward.
Ownership
You own the final site, including the code, content, and design once payment is complete. If you cancel hosting, I'll send you a complete export of the site files within one business day. I retain the right to display the site (or screenshots of it) in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.
Hosting
The $50/month hosting plan includes hosting on Netlify (or an equivalent platform), an SSL certificate, daily backups, software and plugin updates as needed, uptime monitoring, and small content swaps under 15 minutes each. You can cancel at any time. There is no minimum term.
What I'm not responsible for
- The accuracy of content you provide (text, claims, prices, hours).
- Outcomes that depend on factors outside the site itself (your sales process, your marketing, your customer service).
- Downtime caused by your domain registrar, third-party services you embed, or your own changes to the site.
Refunds
Because you don't pay until you approve the site, there is no traditional refund. If you have already paid and a substantive dispute arises, I'll work with you in good faith to resolve it.
Limitation of liability
My total liability for any claim related to the work is limited to the amount you have paid me for that work. I'm not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. If I do, I'll post the new version on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
